I am an avid gardener and love all things that have to do with gardening or the outdoors. My husband and I just built our dream home and my favorite part of that dream is my new garden. I designed it to be aesthetically pleasing but also to blend in with the natural surrounding and the nice amount of woods that our property backs up to. Many of my friends ask me for advice on gardening and one of the things they ask for advice on most is what type of plant stands to buy. I have been into gardening for years and have spent a ton of money on plant stands and I have some pretty strong opinions on the matter. You see you can buy cheap plant stands and they might last a year, but in the long run you will spend more money buying the cheap ones because they simply don't last. And, if they do last, they end up looking like crap. So take it from me, spend some money and invest in some amazing plant stand that will last for 10-20 years. You buy them once and you don't have to worry about replacing them for a decade or two.
The plant stands I like to use, especially for outdoor plants are wrought iron plant stands. The reason I like to buy wrought iron plant stands is that they are sturdy, heavy, last forever and age well. While other plant stands show their age buy discoloring and cracking, wrought iron just grows in character. When other plant stands bow and bulge under the weight of heavy plants and water, wrought iron plant stands stay strong. Sure, wrought iron plant stands might cost more than their plastic or clay counterparts, but remember you probably won't have to replace them anytime soon, if ever! Plus, wrought iron plant stands look like they cost more money which is what a lot of people are going for when it comes to their garden. Gardens are supposed to a peaceful place but also a place to show off your passion.
If you are serious about your garden and want to make an investment that will not only bring you years of enjoyment, but also the best functionality possible, you should invest in some wrought iron plant stands.
